2000 Isuzu Rodeo Pricing

I own a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo that has a bad engine. It seized about a year ago. Recently, someone expressed interest in purchasing it, but I'm not sure how much to sell it for. The brakes are new (put on a few weeks before it seized), good tires.

Any thoughts on how much to sell it for? Kelley Blue book says it's worth between 6 - 8 thousand with a good engine.

Ask a couple shops what it would cost to install a rebuilt engine and then deduct that off the book value.

1000-1500 is probably what it is worth.

Most shops would charge 4k-5k to install a rebuilt engine.
