Hardline trouble

Yeah i stripped like two hardlines even with a flare nut and line wrench. Now im worried i have to get a mechanic to fix my problem. I was trying to change the Brake lines as well as the Clutch hose. I was maybe thinking of buying a locking plier??? any suggestions? Thanks

yes, locking pliers or vise grip pliers work well. also spray some rust penitrant (pb blaster works great) on the connection. and if u feel it starting to strip, stop. also, if ur using locking pliers, use two pair to hold the other end fixed as u try to break it loose. and remember: righty tighty, lefty loosey. good luck.
