Shudder when accelerating??

hello all, ok i really need help cause i cant figure out what could be causing this. i have a 00 2WD with the 4.3, now when i take off from a dead stop and only a dead stop it shudders until u reach about 13/16 mph. ive taken it to dealers and small shops and no one has been able to fix it, all the u-joints and drive shafts have been looked at, trannys flushed with new filter and fluid.. snd the problem persist. has anyone had this prob??? runs great and doesnt shake at all goin down the road, only does it from a dead stop.. please help, im at a total loss and its starting to drive me crazy :banghead:

i would check engine vacuum should be 19-22in. rev to 3,000 rpm guage should drop to 10in and then jump to 21in. rapidly if sluggish in its movement restricted exhaust. if vacuum low below 19 in you have vacuum leak. if all this checks out good then plugs wires rotor cap. when did you replace fuel filter? if not lately now would be a good time

i just changed the fuel filter, and a tune up not long ago. however it doesnt feel like a motor issue cause it runs like a top, but seems more driveline..??? just a wierd situation, cause after you start moving its perfectly fine

You might try taking off with your shifter in low to about 10 mph and notice what happens then stop. Now put the shifter in 2nd and run it up to the same speed and see what happens to see if it's a 1st gear only problem or multiple gear problem.
