Air shock manual adjustment?

Looks like my auto air-leveler has bit the bullet. Keeps blowing fuses, not coming on any more etc... I'd rather not spend the extra dough on replacing it. I've read that there are after-market devices that can inflate/deflate by the push of a button, but they are probably more expensive than the auto-leveler.
Question is: Is there a way to manually pump/release the air skocks?
Currently oncoming cars at night think I have my high-beams on due to the rear air shocks being low and causing the head lights to shine more upwards ever-so-slightly.
Thx.
