Ok, here's my answers:
1. Button to open/close the rear-side air ducts.
2. A small storage bin(total guess here)
3. Almost positive it is a mix of things, tar/dirt/rubber/dings flinging off the tires and road.
4. Guessing the light has to do with the seat belts being buckled, its on when they're unbuckled and off when they're buckled.
5. Due to the picture I can't quite make out whether it is one of two things: Either a security light that blinks when the car is locked, or some sort of receiver of some sort.
Well these are my guesses, hope I'm close.

Oh yeah! I know I know!:

1. Activate missle bay lunchers to take out annoying traffic, crossing animals and the occasional police car.

2. hmm cant tell really, maybe the firewall where the fusion reactor is located.

3. AHA! Those black things are crushed chocolate flavored SKITTLES!!

4. Ah this is easy, it means the mind control device is activated.

5. a cherry.

Well here's my second go round. If I dont get at least one mroe right I'm giving up.

2. Storage Bin to hold either tools or a car jack or both.
3. Maybe brake dust(doesn't seem possible but maybe)
4. The light indicates the air bag is turned on/off.(HAHA, total guess here and probably way off)
5. A sensor that senses when it is getting dark and turns the headlights on automatically.(I have a similar looking thing in my truck and it is a light sensor)

True, anything could be stored in the panel but it was designed to store something very specific.

I was going to say luggage but figured it was located only in the front.

Here's the new list

1. The vents
2. Customized luggage compartments, perhaps for handbags or small pieces. (Perhaps breifcase style like the 360 Modena)
3. Brake Dust
4. Security light
5. Interior temp sensor to calibrate the A/C, in another thread (I've been trying to do my homework) you mentioned the simplicity of the interior. I'm guessing this could be a sensor that makes sure the A/C stays at a certain level.

There is a panel behind each seat. Each seat has its own panel to put someting in.

Ok so, for my first ever post here :D (spot the newbie):
This is what we already know:

1.Opens the Air Vents
2.Compartments are seat cover storage
3.Brake Dust (probs rubber from trying to slow down before you overtake the police car)
4.Security Light

and my guess for number 5, of which I'm having two:

5a. An air pressure guage?
5b. An air speed gauge to regulate air flow through the car?

Make it three:

5c. A light sensor, to detect when lights are needed

Oh well, that me done I reckon, if it's not humidity or temperature, there arent a lot of options left, but you know you will kick yourself when he tells you!

Ammendment: Ok so if its not the lights, or the in car lights (backlit speedo or anything) how about an aerial? It doesnt have one on the outside, it wouldnt be aerodynamic, so it must have one somewhere. Am I getting further away?
