Do you have a link to where you got that from?

I didn't know Lincoln was able to post.

However that brings to mind Neville Chamberlain

"How horrible, fantastic, incredible it is that we should be digging trenches and trying on gas-masks here because of a quarrel in a far away country between people of whom we know nothing." (After Germany's annexation of the Sudetenland)

Which reminds me of another less known one from Churchill

"When I warned them (the French) that Britain would fight on alone whatever they did, their generals told their Prime Minister and his divided Cabinet, 'In three weeks England will have her neck wrung like a chicken.' Some chicken! Some neck! "

So it'll be cool to start whipping out a bunch of quotes from historical figures. There are legions of them so we can go on and on.

I got that one from a news site, but this link is more credible. Scroll down 1 page.

I point out, Germany did not attack France until well after France had declared war on Germany, both in WW1 and WW2. I just felt that quote was somewhat poignant, and was describes my viewpoint.

The quotes from Chamberlain and Churchill are ironic becuase they are refering to an enemy that did in fact pose a threat.

The quote from Lincon is far more relevent as it is refering to an enemy that infact poses no threat.
Iraq does not poses a single weapon capable of reaching the United States, or any of its out lying colonies.
They can just reach some of the US's alies but in a very limited capablity, and one of those neighbors poses the worlds 4th most powerful military, and the other is now being defended by Nato.

If bush is really worried about countrys that are hostile to the US, and not his bussiness interests then he should be paying far more attention to North Korea, Indonesia and China.
