throttle cable plastic clip

How do I remove the plastic clip at the end of the throttle cable? I can't seem to pull or push it out. I don't want to break it.

97 Jimmy 4.3 4wd

Real easy like.
You might spray it with a little lubercant and get the engine warm or have it inside. The have a habbit of plastic breakinhg.
Most of them come straigt forward to unsnap.
Try a pair of pliers on the cabel right behind the clip and pust straight forward opsite of the way it pulls.
