Starts then stalls???

my '99 OBS just started doing this today, could it be the oil
pressure switch,don't think it's a security issue???

Well it'll atleast start now, but i need to try it three times,
the third time it'll start, any idea's??????

Check the fuel pressure/volume. I had one that was barely flowing any fuel. The 2 second prime was enough to let it run, but the pump didn't flow enough to keep it running.

well i got it started and let it warm right up,now it won't do it :banghead:
i don't think it's a fuel pressure issue because i tested it earlier this summer
and it was close to spec..

Maybe i'll check it again.....but it would still do it you think when warm.

Well i know it isn't a F/P problem, checked it today..seems good

key on engine off--55psi
key on engine off pump running--65psi
key on engine running--55psi

starting to think maybe theft deterrent system, but when i can get the truck
started i have no security light on, so if it was a TDS problem wouldn't the
security light be on??

oh and when it warms up it don't seem to do it, only cold,
also when it starts and stalls fuel pressure stays the same it
does not fall when engine stalls,so thats telling me computer
is not cutting fuel pump???????

any thought's???????
