Brake/ABS light

Greetings,
This morning on the way to work I noticed both the ABS and the brake lights on the whole way. I stopped once and took the park brake on/off several times to see if it would reset, but they stayed on. This morning where I live we had quite a snow dropping, so I'm wondering if this might simply be that the park brake is partially frozen or something.
I'll take it in to be checked if it's still on tomorrow though, but thought I'd ask. I don't see how the brake being on would stop the ABS from working, which is why I'm asking here. As far as I could tell, the brake is not on at all. With the slippery roads this morning, I would know pretty much right away if I had a wheel dragging. (And I was specifically paying attention to that because of the lights)
This is an 07 Mazda 3, about 5 months old. The dealer told me to wait until tomorrow and if it's still on to bring it in so they can scan the codes.
