speaker wiring

i have a 94 sl and im puttin a screen in my ride, i have 2 problems. for one, what r the wires that go toe the rear speakers i dont wann ahve to take it all apart justto look behinmd the speakers. secondly, i think i need a higher amp battery cuz sometyime the deck will get shut off and restart and i notice its when the voltage meter is below 12, help.

I think the rear speaker wires are purple, (but that could be in a 240sx) you could always just pop the radio out really quick and check though.

As for the battery that is weird, could be an alternator issue also, how old is the battery?

well the thing is my radio was stolen a while back and they cut the wires so all the wires come straiht fom the harness. i CAN take out the back speakers but i dont know how. any help there would be nice to.

yea the battery issue might be the alternator, its a rebuilt one and the batterys not that old, but i think i neeed a new one. what il do is get a new one and if it doesntfix it then get a new alternator, then if that still doesnt work ill have to get a copacitor for the deck, o well. any more help???

Yes, just go ahead and replace the battery first, Ive had issues that seemed like the alt and even Advanced said that the battery was good, yet i changed it and everything was perfect.

If you go to www.stealth316.com (http://www.stealth316.com) there is a walkthrough on taking out the back speakers, it is a little bit of a pain though. If you can wait till Sat then I will pop out my stereo and let you know which colors are what. are you looking for the stock harness colors though? or the newer colors after the connection?
