How do you get the amp fuse out of the relay box, is it bolted in? If so, how do you get the mother  out!

If it is a blade-type fuse, they should all be held in by friction...a little more info on your vehicle might help as well as what you're trying to do.

100A sounds more like a fusible link (squarish with a window on top to see the fuse part) but should be removable the same way but without a fuse puller.

pliers and patience, that's what I typically use with stubborn fuses. The patience is what keeps you from squeezing so hard that you shatter the plastic.

If not already done, I would suggest first to disconnect the battery...arcing across a open-to-the-air 100A fuse with your pliers may not be pretty. Then, I'd squirt some silicone lubricant in underneath the bottom of the fuse where the prongs are...if you can remove as much of the leftover plastic from the fuse, the better you can get a good shot at them. Try to use the thin tube nozzle attachment they give you with the can of spray lube to get in there and not make a mess of everything else. Then grab each half of the fuse terminals and wiggle them out. Once you get them out, you can blow out any excess plastic and lube with canned air or shop air compressor. Hope this helps!

Found this for a 1990 Corolla...may or may not be similar.

The fuse is bolted to two terminals inside the fuse box (http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/110810#), it is possible to remove the part that contains the 100a fuse by releasing the retaining clips on the fuse holder and pulling up, then the two wires can be unbolted and the fuse replaced. You have to look very closely to locate the plastic clips, release them with a small screwdriver wile pulling up on the fuse.</SPAN>
