In one episode of "Home Improvement", Tim Taylor drops a structural steel beam on a 55 Nomad. Does anyone know if a car was really sacrificed for this program or was it FX?

Well if you watched the very end of the show... they show Tim Allen standing next to the Real Nomad... and joking while the wrecked Nomad sat in the background. What they crushed was probably a rusted out hulk of a car that was just painted up to resemble that '55.

I hope you're right. I once owned a '55 four door sedan.

Speaking of Nomads, did anyone see Chevy's Nomad concept car? I don't really like it.
