My father in law bought a 67 gto new and drove it for5 or 6 years and it developed a problem of rubbing the main hot cable to the starter against the frame and popping the fusible link, well he shuved it into his barn where it stay for 34 years until I confiscated it, I now have it running and have been working on replacing all of the brake and fuel lines and am almost ready to drive this car, I have to fix the rats nest of wiring now and I need to know where the fusible link is in this car(this car is my first dealings with pontiacs) This car is awesome though, one owner, 55000 original miles with original paint and spottless interior this is what you call a true barn find!!!! any help with the fusible link would be greatly appreciated.

Should be just off the starter harness maybe 6 inches away from the solenoid, this assumes someone didn't alter the oe wiring in some way. There is more than one in that harness, also.
