rear end swap bronco to f150

Hi all...probably a stupid question, but bear with me.

I totalled out my 1994 Bronco, and my buddy wants my rear axle for his 1984 F150. the F150 is only 2WD however. Would this swap be possible? And if so, what would need to be changed/altered?

Would it also be possible to swap the leafs?

and the stupidest question, what is the tonnage on a Bronco? I believe it's a half ton but i'm not positive and want to be sure.
