The heater motor will not turn off, nor will it change speeds from the front control panel. everything on the front panel works with the exception of anything that controls the motor speed, including the ATC HI/LO.
When I turn the fan off from the control panel, the motor goes to high speed when turned on it seems to be at about 1/2 to 3/4 speed. The Haynes manual is no help. somewhere a ground is getting provided to turn the motor on and the circuit diagram does not make sense for what is happening.
I thought it was the resistor block but can not locate it to check. The is a module PN 04885482AA/D mounted behind the glove box. It does not look like the pictures I have seen on the internet so I am hesitant to remove.
I called Mopar wholesale and they told me there is also a control module with the ATC, now I am not sure that it is the resistor block, nor do I have any idea where the control module is located, unless that is the part I listed above in which case I still can't locate the resistor block.

Have you checked the switch?

Maybe disconnect the battery for a minute and reconnect, both pos/neg., neg. first though, or if you don't want to loose all the memory just unplug the ac panel with the key off and plug back in. Mine was stuck on with ac on and I just unplugged the ac panel for a minute and plugged back in and it seems fine now.

Do you have the digital dual zone temp control for the A/C and Heat? The module behind the golve box will have either the resistor block for the non-digital controls or will have an electronic control for the digital control. The module for the digital temp control is a MOS FET and not a resistor block. You will find a module with a heat sink behind the glove box.
We changed out our cabin filter and shortly after that, the fan motor control module failed. The FET shorted on the module. We were able to source just the FET and repair the module.
