Help with 91 PA

Ive had alot of problems within the last 2 weeks with my PA. I replaced the battery and alternator thinking that was the problem. I found out later that there was a pinched wire in the steering wheel column after i blew out 12 fuses within 30 minutes. Now i resorted to the check engine light. The guy told me that the TPS and the IAC were comming up in the scan. I changed both and my check engine light is still on. I read one of the post from earlier in the year and i was wondering if the TPS could just need adjusted and about how much that would cost. Sometimes when i drive the check engine light will go off but i can allways feel it in the throttle right before it kicks back on.

If anyone can offer some knowledge about this problem i would highly appreciate it!

Did you clear the DTC’s (codes) after you replaced the TPS & IAC? The TPS is not adjustable per se, however, it is a good idea to check voltage. The TPS has three wires; the grey wire is the ECM reference voltage and should read 5.0v. The blue wire is variable and should read .5v @ idle, or closed throttle. Of course, the black wire is ground. You can probe the TPS connector with a paper clip into the terminals for checking voltage. Turn ignition ON (engine off) for this test. Let us know what you find and if need be, we can tell you how to adjust TPS voltage.
BTW, Welcome to AF! :)
