Guide to installing bug deflector

I got a bug deflector for my 03 Denali for Christmas. The instructions are horrible. All's they show is holes and where to put the screws through. No picture of where they go on the front of the truck.

Please help. This can't be that hard and I don't feel like paying my garage to do it.

Line up the deflector as indicated on the under hood edge, it will become apparent.

I am telling you, it doesn't have that in the instructions. It just shows me the screws. When I pop my hood I don't see any holes.

Pictures or diagrams would be helpfully if anyone has any.

They have to be drilled. No biggie, use your head, take you best guess, and just drill 'em.

Use stainless screws if the ones provided are not stainless. (Check with magnet.) It is best to use is a low profile socket head cap screw better known as a button head cap screw (BHCS).

I bought a bug guard for my Yukon. Cannot recall the make. Installation was included. After a few months, I noticed the imprint of the screws on the plastic opposite the hood when closed. The screws were also starting to rust. I went to the hardware store and bought some BHCS's. I also filled the holes with silicon for sealant before putting in the screws. Don't know if this did anything or not. I checked for interference between the screws and the plastic and all was OK.
