I've got the small 6 cyl. Even when warmed up it idles way too fast. I've tried spraying carb cleaner in the carb but it didn't help. Is there an adjustment?

Not much of as adjustment.
Is the iac valve working or closing right?
Most fast idle problems are vacuum leaks.
Look over for any vacuum leaks or lines and check pcv valve operation.

If a TBI injection remove and replace the base gasket.

A good engine capable scanner.
How fast is the engine idling?
Has the TBI base gasket been checked or replaced?

When engine is idling fast pull plug on IAC valve and look in tbi and or remove it and see if IAC valve plunger is extended.

If it is a idling up around 2 grand and no other vacuum leaks I would remove TBI and replace the TBI gasket first thing.

Think I may have found the problem (or another one), by accident. I was changing the drivers side front shock and moved about a 1/2 inch black rubber hose out of the way. One end went to the canister and the other end connects to nothing. Something broken off and rusty inside. Anyone know where it goes? Thanks.

If it has engine vacuum on the hose it plug it for a test.
