Which used SUV?

I am looking to buy a used SUV(probably mid 90's), and I have narrowed it down to these choices.


Honda Passport
Isuzu Rodeo
Toyota 4runner
Jeep Grand Cherokee

So far, it looks like both Passport and Rodeo start to have a lot of engine problems when they hit 100,000 miles. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews about the Jeep... 50% love it, the other 50% say its been nothing but trouble. The 4runner seens to have the best reviews as far as being reliable with high miles.

Any input at all about these Suvs would be greatly appreciated... also, any suggestions for suvs not listed above would be helpfull too.

always like the 4-runner...might want to look into the durangos....we picked up a fully loaded 2000 5.9 V8 SLT PLUS for less that $18,000...

i agree the durango is a good choice.. the other than that i would take the jeep or the honda..
