95 deville wont start.. security light

good battery, goodlights, wont turn over at all. The security light comes on and then the 3 minute count down begins after keys are removed from ignition and it still wont start. any help would be appreciated. thank you.

Could be an ignition cylinder problem. You really need to get a service manual to diagnose the problem.

Owners man. said to clean keys and check fuse. Checked,good. checked ohmes on key chip,1128,1133 ohms. Followed wires down column.,checked at pannel,same reading when key in off pos. on pos. no reading. Two seperate keys

I recieved a tip from a friend who referred me to this site. My vehicle anti theft system (VATS) may be the problem. I googled vats bypass. It referred me to VATS.likeabigdog.com . The car started rite up. Maybe this will help someone else. This is a good site, thanks for the help.
