^Sweet deal Dave! Tubes? I didn't know you had those. Fun aren't they? I have a $100 for BH and I'm deciding on TC, tubes, or compact camera.

Yeah just got some cheapies so they don't have contacts which means manual focus and no aperture control. Deciding on whether to buy a proper Canon one. I want a bellows :p TC?

You know you can still stop the lens?
Put it in Av or Manual, select your preferred aperture and press and hold the DOF button.
While your still holding it, remove the lens and put it on the tubes.
It will hold what ever aperture you had set until you put it back on the camera, and its been shown many times that it does no damage to lens or camera.
