Broken triangle glass

Hi all. I drive a 95 Olds Silhouette that only has 217,000 miles on it. I usually hang out on the Geo Metro forum as they are a hobby with me. However, last night some vandals shattered the Triangle shape glass on the driver's side of my windshield on the Silhouette. I have replaced windshields in the Metro in the summer, but I am not familiar with this particular piece of glass in the Olds. Does anybody know how to go about getting this part from a salvage yard? Is it something I can do in cold weather? Are there any special tricks or techniques to make the job easier? Thanks for any advice!
