depends where you get it done. i know places that will do it for 300 bucks and i have a very good friend that sends all the cars that come to his shop to a machinist he knows that wont even give you the time of day for under a grand. but all the cars at my friends shop are from very wealthy people. mainly bimmers and porsche. anyway it depends.
but i will warn you, after spending all that money you will be very dissapointed by the result. a lot of people think omg if i do port and polish then my car would be sooo fast!! it doesnt do that. especially with engines like hondas that are essentially good flowing, port and polish doesnt make that big of a difference. that kind of machining should only be done if you have the extra funds and understand what youre getting. its just for that few extra hp that the other guy doesnt have. and if you dont have a hot cam, exhaust, intake AND headers, then i say youre wasting your time and money.

somewhere in the ballpark of a grand from what I've been told, would depend on the shop me thinks.
