i bought this kit and i was wondering what color could be nice, i will go with the euro look with small bumpers, not the snow plow like on the box

the color i have is this one

what kind of rims would be nice on it? the ones that comes with the kit are te37, not sure of the results on a golf :screwy:

and grill set-up, i might go with single spot

thanks for the answers!

Your right about the wheels not fitting well, i would go with some small wheels like 16" or even 14" with deep lips. Maybe some small wide bbs or porsche wheels would look nice. Also stick with the single lights, but you should debadge the grill. Keep us updated, never get tired of golf builds.

Debadging the grill is a "must" IMO. The wheels are too big too. I have to agree with MidMazar, go smaller deeper lip. Good Luck!

Nice color, I would match the center of the BBS rims and paint the bolts gold. That would look killer :)

Nice build, looks much better than the box already. Im such a fan of the mk2 golf, I hope to build a kit one day! After the e21!

Those new wheels suit much better, Id like the inners red. Gold bolts would be nice but might be quite tricky.

I love the direction this build is heading in though
