im going to help a guy on 3si is a few hours. he needs to pull my ECU and see if his is bad. When i plug my ECU back in, do i need to do anything special?
i seem to remember someone saying you have to let it idle for 15 minutes to re-learn the fuel maps or something like that????

I dont think you have to do any of that.. when you first start your car it runs mosty off your 02 sensors then as it warms up it uses the other sensors to run the fuel.. but yeah.. If you want to let it idle.. go for it.. haha but I have allways just pluged and went.. but make sure you touch somthing metal before you touch the ecu!!

You can start it right up and drive after plugging the ecu back in, but my car did idle a little funny for about 15-20 min, no biggie though and it didnt hinder overal driving peformance.
but yeah, def keep it away from static! and maybye check your capacitors while you have it out, you have a first gen ecu after all:shakehead
