I am in need of information regarding a geo metro convertable. The top will not close . The handle will only lock one side. The horn doesn't work. How many quarts of oil does it take to change oil? It is a 1991 LSI. Any help would be appriciated . I really need to find out what the name of the locking devise is on the top and where I might find one. Also it has a 3 cylinder engine Thanks

Could you provide more information about your car so that the rest of us can help you out like the engine size.

If it's a 1.0, then I would go with 3 1/2 quarts, with a filter. The 1.3 is about the same.
As for your horn, I would check the fuses, then possibly check the horn itself.
If your top won't close, I would spray WD-40 on all the working joints on the top. Once you get everything working good and free, then oil the same joints with a little heavier oil.

Every Metro ever built takes 3.5 quarts, including the '91 LSI convertable with 3 cylinder engine that he very accurately described, what more do you want to know?
The top may have shrunk and does not get close enough to the windshield header. I've heard that the part that it latches to on the header breaks, but I've never owned a 'vert, so this is hearsay.
The horn circuit consists of a switch behind the button, the horn itself, a fuse, and a bunch of wires and connectors in between. Just like any other electrical circuit, check to see if there is ground and 12 volts at the horn, based on that test you can move toward the problem one step at a time.

Spot on Woodie. 1.0's take 3.5qts w/ filter. 1.3's take 4qts flat w/ filter.
First check that you have no blown fuses. Then look for bat. voltage between the two wires that connect to the horn under the hood when the button is depressed. I'll see if I can't find a relevant wiring diagram for our purpose here.
