Air Bag light code 3-6. 3-7 99' exp 4.0l good fix

Had problem with air bag light flashing code 3-6 one time and 3-7 the next. Read a couple of post about it and found out the codes meant drivers side seat and pass. seat. Air bag terminals dead-end under each seat. Pulled yellow coupling off of both, used crc elec. cleaner (plastic safe) on each terminal end, waited about 20 min to dry and put coupling back together. No light. Hope this helps

Great, thanks for the tip. Did you notice corrosion or anything on the connectors prior to using the electronic cleaner?

Yes, there was a little but nothing significant. Not saying that was the difference but it worked and still no light as of 1 jan 08
