got a problem 98 civic ex

ok i put a 97 dx engine in a 98 ex and used same ecu that came with the 97dx and the wire harness i get no power everything is hooked up the only power i get is the horn and the hazard lights no other power whatso ever do i need to reprogram the ecu any advice is good thank you:banghead:

Everything is not hooked up. You more than likely have a bad ground.

Aside from using the wrong ECU and motor for that car, it should still start.
