a little trouble, and a little confusing

i need the HH wheels rod and hole to be lower and wider(haha) can any11 help me out

haha, thats what i said when i looked at it, well lets see this, you know how there is a little rod inside a rim, used to connect to the brake disc. well the above pics shows the hight, and width of the 2 connecting rods on the 2 different rims, what i need is to make the HH wheels rods equal to the size of the stock ones, or else the HH rims dont fit on the car, alittle better?

Same here.

You have got to look at your chassis and figure out a way. I'm having a similar problem with my ITR.

So far I've only widened the wheel wells. Didn't look at the chassis yet because I still have so much other work to do such as on the body.

So, my advice. Look at the chassis think hard. I know you can find a way. There is usually always a way.

problem isnt with the chassis or anything else, the problem is with the HH wheels, basically when i put on the HH wheels the connector doesnt insert into the brake disc correctly and they stick out about an extra half inch, i thought thi would be easy to explain at first but when i started typing, i knew i had a roblem on my hands

Ok,let me get this straight.The rods on the HH rims are longer and narower than the stock rims,right.

longer,yes/ narrower, no-- but the hole in the rods is narower

I understand... I got some 18" te37's for my tamiya celica, and they didnt fit right at all... so i took a grinding stone on my dremmel and just grinded the wheel down on the inside untill it fit right... it took a long time and i still have to finish it with the other three rims.... aaah!

I think Hash_man has you covered. I'm going to do the same with the wheels on my Jeep Cherokee, which are Hoppin Hydros. I had planned on using a dremel sanding disk, but I'm affraid of cutting through the wheel too, so I'm just using one of the tips and a steady hand. I am thinking about getting some thin styrene rod and putting it inside the rim so that it's a peg just like Tamiya. it should mount a lot better then. You'll still have to sand down the inside of the HH rim. Hope that idea helps.
