Max i appreciate all the help you give people the year is 94. Does that really matter knowing that air leveling is an option. I installed the new strut and it was an air level system,i don't know what olds calls it. I replaced it with a strut without an airline and it seems to be fine. So i really don't need anymore help at this time but thanks anyway for a reply and I am sorry I didn't respond quicker. I actually did the repair on Christmas day it took only a couple hours.Had to remove the back seat but really wasn't that bad.

I hope you pulled the fuse, or disconnected the wiring for your compressor, otherwise the compressor will run all the time; if it still worked.
