Twin Turbo LS1 Firebird (not sure.. possibly a Firehawk) vs. GSXR1000

Not every day you see a car beat out a bike. I think the race tops out at 140 mph.

I was at the street races the other night, when a RX7 paired up with a pretty nice CBR. Anyways, end result, RX7 took the race. That is some insane shit seeing a car, beat a bike.

bike was prolly the dudes friend and let him win, just so that the post would be valid, those gsxr1000's are like under 10 i think....and it didn't look as thou the driver was going that fast, if you look at the traffic, prolly around 120mph....bike could have taken him if he wanted to.....

maybe those r1000's are just slow, try out a 600 and see waht happens.

That Camaro has twin turbo on it.. if it's tuned properly, a TT Camaro LS1 can and have ran in the 9's and at the same time being completely streetable..

Amazing to speculate about the power and performance potentials of TT LS6 Corvettes!! I know there are some out there already, but I have not seen any track results. The idea of 8-second 1320s without the benefit of weight reduction is mind-boggling, and yet feasible!!!

An engine that large with twin turbo's should do 9's setup to full potential.

Why do they not use a large singe setup?

Road GTR's run those times alot. 9 or less.

Best I have seen is a 7s, with the RB engine.

That was an actual race that happened, we didnt know the guys on the bikes. I was chasing at about 120 mph and he was pulling on me like a bat out of hell. we were going down i96 in michigan when it happened from a race...
