Turn signals and hazard out help!

1999 Galant, both turn signals out and the hazards do not work. I was told by the auto parts store there are 2 seperate flashers for the signals and the hazards, so I think that eliminates a bad flasher. What else should I be checking? If one of the bulbs is out would it make the others non-functional?

Have you checked your fuses in both areas (under hood, driver side under dash)?

First, check all fuses, then check for any power going down to both signal while turning the signal with key-on. If none, it's a bad signal switch. If all 4 turning signal is out, definately a bad switch?

could be a faulty hazard switch as it disengages the indicators when hazard is activated
