Le Sabre runs good most of the time but once in a while it will drop out one coil. You can take of both plug wires off the first coil and it has no fire. I have replace coil pack and module and still have the same problem. The only thing i see wrong is the plug in that hooks to the module... the wires are missing the isulation about 1/4" out of the plug. Is this common? The car has also had the crank and cam sensor replaced and still same problem. Do i just need to go to the salvage yard and cut off a new connector?

Welcome to AF. I'd give it a try. Look for any frayed wiring between the crank sensor and the icm also.

My 94 done that and I chased it for months, Then a friend said the #1 plug wire was burt off up inside the boot, changed it and the miss was gone, it's a great engine 246,000 miles mostly original and burns no oil
