hehe, whatever civic people drive here, that's what they'll recomend you to get. How much money are you gonna spend? If you got the money, I'd say a 99-00 SI. No, i don't have one, (sadly) But that's the one I like the best. Some people will say to get a hatchback cuz they're faster, but I've never really been a fan of the way those look.

5th gen 92-95 is best for mods due to the OBDI computer,
the 6th gen is the best for suspension mods, stiffer chasis.

Both accept engine swaps very well.

Yeah i think the hatchbacks look pretty ugly too! I would like a new Civic but i can only afford about 5-6k spent on it. How much are the 92-95 models?

Well, if you only got around 5-6K to spend, I'd go with a 5th gen (92-95) They look nice too. Maybe not as good as the 6th gen. <ahem>. Just make sure you find one that hasn't been messed with too much, like one that some 17 year old kid owned and beat on it, ripping out stuff, know what I mean.

Are there alot of them out there or will it be hard to find one. I know it was tough to find my Accord....so is it the same way with Civic? And are most of the standards? **I REALLY WANT A STANDARD!!**

Well, I am all for the old school hatch backs. :) The sedans look like ass though.

It shouldn't be too hard to find one. You might have a whole lotta miles to deal with though. As for the standard, it's 50/50. I've seen the same number of sticks as I have auto's

go with the 5th generation 92-95 civic! but hatchbacks look like eggs and the sedans are just, yuck, so get a coupe. and if you're buying off the internet, look at cars.com. to get the pricing take a look at kbb.com that's how i got my car.

Yeah i just got a 95 civic 4 door. Not bad considering it has a new paint job. It only has 85k and it was just 4,600 bucks. Pretty sweet deal. Just look for those businessmen that buy and sell cars out of a garage. 95 civic 1)new paint job 2) silverstar headlights 3) pioneer 8600mp cd player............................................ .............................
