Removing Emblems

Anyone know how to remove your emblems? I want to get rid of the DX emblem and the "Honda" emblem

use a butter knife or carefully use a screwdriver

just stick a knife behind it and rip it off


thats what i did to jack other people honda/ford/mercades/pontiac/lexus emblems

Will there be a mark left on there or will it rip off them paint?

there is ussually a little glued piece in a hole so it won;t rip off the paint will just have a hole there

So there will be a hole in my car?

i dunno about the dx emblem but there will be 2 where the honda was

of course water will get inside....your going to have 2 holes in your car :D i don't think the hloes are big enough to allow a lot of water inside....when you take off your emblem....just gonna be a dirty spot...just be careful on taking it off....the dx emblem...not too sure about that.....take it off and use some goop gone or something like that...sure someone else can help you with that

Your 88 hatch will not have holes behind the honda or DX emblems, '88CiViC_DX' took both of his off. I reccomend a degreaser to get all the glue and shit off.

90-91's are a different matter :(

oh well im still rigtht since i have a 90 :)

im gonna be taking mine off and putting on red honda emblems

the back emblems are just glued on, just use something to get the glue off. now the front honda emblem does have 2 holes behind it, it will just pop off with no problems.

I just took off the DX emblem and there was no holes, just a bunch of glue that i am going to have to get off. Didn't give them honda emblem a chance cause i didn't want 2 holes but thanx to MELT i will be able to go back out and take the honda off

everything but the center H on the hatchs do not have holes behind them. I took mine off with some fishing line so i would mess up the paint, Since my other paint has faded you can kinda tell that there used to be emblems there.

hehe damn right, he was telling us "yo my emblems are shaved" and im like, even though there arent holes, you can tell there used to be emblems there so you cant call it shaved :p
