What do u think? engines almost done..

well, the engine is almost done, got a couple more things to do, what do you guys think of it?
and yes i know its a D15B2! but i dont have much money. all i gotta do is fix a broken screw for my distributor cap, put oil in, put anti freeze in and see if she still runs

The b4 pic almost made die man that was some scary stuff but now, look at the prety colors the blue valve cover looks really cool

What kind of paint? I am thinking about doing that also, does the valve cover just screw off? And what should i cover the engine with while i am painting the cover?

you can take the valve cover off the engine to paint it...

I took the top part of the engine apart to get my head sent out to get new valve seals, the header was painted with High Heat Aluminum Colour, says its perfect for headers, heads, blocks etc... the valve cover was painted with anodized Blue spray bomb. got it all at Canadian Tire.
i have more pics but the file sizes r too big, will post in 15 mins or so after i adjust em. to paint the valvecover i just used a wire brush in my electric drill to get ridda the old paint on there and oil, gunk etc... makin it look somewhat shiney, then i sprayed it with the paint, gave it 2 or 3 coats and poof, blue valve cover hehe, i also did my battery tie down too

yea i was thinkin about gettin one of the anodized blue or red oil caps but i havent had time to run to the import shop out here yet so I just sprayed mine with look alike chrome (same stuff i did my rims with):D

make sure you plug up the holes though, just lay a CLEAN towel overtop of it so nothing gets inside there.

yea, i need to re-do the manifold cuz all the paints coming off it. ah well, all that matters is the trannys fixed :) 2nd gear rubber feels awesome again :D
