A day of Quadding!

Tonight was great! Mother Nature decided to drop 15 inches of snow on Northern Virginia today(she's expected to continue to pound the area with an additional 7 - 10 by the way). Anyways, they've declared State of Emergency for the area, so no one is allowed to drive on the roads unless you're emergency personel. Penalties can be impoundment, jail time, and $1000 fines. So of course, we were out there! Me and a couple of my friends and cousins decided to quad in the snow! We started out just on the main road in front of my house. Having a BLAST to say the least. Tons of snow, no cars at all, just us, the open road, and snow dunes:D We were content with that for most of the day, but then we got greedy. We threw the quads on the trailers and in my truck and headed down Richmond Hwy. to the freeway entrances. Now I admit this was dumb, but we had to try. We parked the trucks in a Shell station by the onramp to I-95/I-495(Capitol Beltway) and rode 'em up the ramp. Go in some good 4-way snow-drags:D Didn't stay on too long, as the $1000 fine is a little bit intimidating for poor college folk, but the time we were on was great. It was so weird. The only way I've seen 95/495 is jam packed with cars. It was extremely odd to see it all barren and so quiet. But it was tons of fun. Took a bunch of pics, two whole rolls. But I left my digital down at school so all we had as a "real" camera. I'll develop them soon though and get some scans up. We got some good pics:)

Sounds like a good time! I don't remember much of this weekend...which scares me to all hell. I will have pics also, incriminating ones for the most part...like my friend charles, leading a 43 yr. old women back to her car where they then proceeded to go to her place and smack the ass up! yeah good stuff!

WISH WE'D GET SOME MORE DOWN HERE IN NORFOLK....ALL WE GOT WAS RAIN :(

Here in CT we have 2ft and still going! Time to go 4wheeling in the landrover:D

Man.. its pretty cold here in CA too.. like low 50s at night or something!
