Coldest day yet this winter...

It is just after noon here in West Hartford, and the temperature just hit 10 degrees F a couple minutes ago. Assuming it may still get as high as 12 or 13 for an afternoon high, that will still give today the lowest average temperature of any day this winter, and of several of the previous winters as well. This is some cold pattern we've got this year!

coldest we had so far this winter was -17 Farenheit (just checked the thermometer) which which is somewhere close to -30 Celcius and that is without the windchill:eek2:

We're spoiled here in los angeles, the coldest it gets is like 60 degrees. Thats our version of cold, its hot all year round here:p

Yeah, well Yogs would be having a field day in Pittsburgh today! Our high is about 15* F, with windchills easily below freezing. That's not even the coldest we've ever had!!!

Also, we've got about 10" of snow with only more to come. It's so awesome! I almost ran off the road coming back to school from home. I probably shouldn't have gone out b/c it was kinda dangerous, but I got to get some killer donuts going in the 8" we had before I got here. :p

It is cold today, isn't it? It's reached 40 degrees here. That's cold for central Texas.

Ah, it's about 10+ degrees celcius on the island... I guess that works out to about 60 degrees F...

It's been raining but it looks pretty clear right now:)

Well,at the moment,my AWS WetherBug say 18F.And its benn snowing here since midnight last night,about a foot and a half on the ground now,and not supposed to stop until late tonight.Man I hate winter.But,coldest its been here this winter was about -10F.

You guys are getting what we had (though we didn't get the winds) for the last month :) My sister has been up in Jakson Wyoming this winter and to hear what they've been getting makes me happy its not worse here.

I hope you guys on the East Coast take care out there. Thats a nasty storm you're getting.

Roughly -22 Celsius + without the windchill every damn day of this month. We've hit the -40's with windchill often but it rarely goes past that, welcome to Canada.

yeah coldest we've had was about -30(celcius) or so without the wind chill
and for the past week the temp has barely came above -20
