Hey guys, just got a big question for all you pontiac and other fans alike. Well there is this car show at my school that will be held towards the end of the year. I admired all the cars last year... 300zx(favorite), suped civics, lowriders, moded integras, and about one cobra... but didn't have one back then. But it's this year now, and i have my Red Prix GT in great condition. Just one thing is holding me back though... The rules are, you have to have either a really old but nice car, or a regular car with some obvious mods. I didn't ask if mine was eligable yet. The reason is because all i did was put a k@N filter straight through exhaust (no u bend), a rear under bumper PONTIAC sticker along with some other white "grand prix" lettering over the preexisting lettering. The last owner put upgraded pontiac wheels on it even though i like the mags better. There is a chance i could get in now because of the great condition it's in, and the teachers are also domestics fans. But i still think it's not enough to get in. Somebody please give me some suggestions. I think they are fools for visuals so don't hesitate with them too, i'd greatly appreciate it!!! I want import's opinions also cuz i don't hate, lol Thanx

IMO car shows should allow all cars to enter no matter what.
A car should not have to be modded to the hilt to be appreciated at a show. If you are proud of your car and want to enter the show, than I can't see any reason why anyone would want to stop you from it.
I go to a lot of car shows and I like to see a variety of cars, I can not count on my fingers the number of times I have been to a show with bone stock vehicles in it.
If they still don't like it tell them it is a work in progress.:D

Yea, i agree also, especially since most of the cars the students have are passed down from their parents and pretty ordinary. I used to have a big minivan. I probably will try to get it in the show, cause i think what's under the hood is more important than body kits and stuff that doesn't mean much. I am proud of my car either way, just these guys are picky, and since im a senior, it's my last year, meaning my last chance to get in. So i guess i just want alittle bit more visuals for them just to make sure before getting turned away.
By the way HIKARU- The 97 are the same model as the 98-01's

Please keep this one on topic or it will be closed.
We are here to discuss Pontiacs not flame on them.

As soon as i get my scanner hooked up, i will try and attach some images of my Grand Prix, still in progress. Reciently replaced a light and when i looked at it, the thing was dead crooked. So it looks like im gona got that one fixed by pontiac and while im at it, i mines well replace the other too. New lenses make such a difference, my old ones had moisture buildup.
