Sup everyone...I'm really stumped on this one.. I just bought the white cobra eyes windsheild washer leds..and thinking that the installation was fairly easy...lets just say that it's not at all easy as i thought it was...for anyone that has a 90-93 accord and knows a enough about the electrical system could you explain to me were to hook up the leds. It said on the box to hook them up to the "cornerlights" or the "parking lights" some people may call them,i popped the hood, took a look at to were the back of the corner lights are and there is no room to reach the wire that connects to the cornerlights(is there another way?)...it's kinda whack to have em' but can't turn them on. Another thing, i've been planning on getting the projector headlights for the car too...would it be better if i just wait an splice the wires when i install them?

how would i splice a long wire to them, i can't reach it...the wire from the cornerlights are down in a hard to reach area were i can't even get my hand in to them....there's various wires on top of the engine though...could one of those be it? The only thing is: There are soo many different:flash: colored wires i don't even know which one to cut...

send Melt (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/private.php?s=&action=newmessage&userid=28590) a PM and ask him how to take out the corner light, he's done it a million times and can help you with that. Once you get that light out, then get a longer wire and splice into that and run it to the wire on the led.

Aight man .. you gotta take out your corner lense, which should just be a screw on the top, I know my moms 91 accord corner lenses are a bitch to get out but just keep pulling. Then go in your car and hit your hazards and then turn on your lights. Check the bulbs and which ever one is NOT blinking, is the one you want to splice into, the black wire is ground, and whatever the other one is is the positive.

I would suggest hooking them up to a switch. Those LED's fall under the category of "ornamental lighting" which is illegal, in PA for sure. Splice the wires together so you'll only have a ground and a hot coming from the LED's. Run a piece of wire through the firewall, hook a rocker switch up to it. On the other side of that... one goes to the battery terminal, one gets grounded. Splice the LED's onto the respective lines and your done... Make sure you don't have any juice goin though when you make the last splice though. This way you can turn them on and off as you please.

Thanx guys your info is truly helpful...gotta quick question though....In NC i know that the cobra lights for the washers aren't illega if they aren't blue, red, and green, but white ones should be ok right?
Oh and melt...I've took that screw of the top of them and tried to pull out the corners before, but it seems like i would break them if i pulled them too hard it'll break them...what's up with that?

I know I posted here on AF when I was trying to replace a bulb in my moms accord, I thought there was something I was missing, but just keep pulling and they should come out. Anyways the WHITE cobra eyes are legal, while red and blue are illegal (police colors) and green is questionable
