Im so sick and tired of people using that work for something that just needs to be described as "hideous" It looks like poop, thats beyond the "rice" category

Would be interesting to build a car with two powered axles at the back,or a pickup truck that could handle some serious towing,
but on a civic?Nah,just looks like a hearse for the obese.:bloated:

The Dodge T-rex, it was just a concept, but it was a 6x6 and had something on the order of 500 lb feet of torque. I actually liekd it a lot.

Tasty. The Aussies actually have a niche production line of 6x6 military conversions based on the LandRover ...

Who makes them? Just a private contractor or Landrover? I've seen special options for the Hummer that are quite creative but I think they are just produced by a conversion company. A 6x6 Landrover would be quite something.

Thanks.
I was trying ot find out what sort of setup they had to power the third axle, I was surprised to see that they use a shaft from the transfer case and not just another shaft from the second diff that most trucks I see use. Weird.

same as a six wheel civic,I guess....It's an amuseing project for engineers,a chance to make a one-of-a kind. The fact that there's no demand for it is irrelevant, there was no demand to conquer Everest.
