I just finished this about a week ago. I posted these in the modeling forum, and someone suggested I post them here. Let me know what you think.

I have just recently started modeling myself. Kudo's to those modelers out there that produce beauty's like the one above. The first model I built is the 69 camaro in my sig. I am still working on it, I get so pissed off when things don't go right or it doesn't look real enough, I have shelved that thing so many times. I have been working on it for about 3 months now.

I am still working on the SS396 convertible Camaro though. It is going to be sweet.

I ordered the 2003 Yellow tint they are using on the Vettes for body color and I think I am going with an Ivory interior for it. Hope it turns out good. I will start a thread in the modeling forum next weekend I hope.

I guess I will continue to work on these damn camaros until I can afford to buy a 1:1 scale camaro:D That I could build;)

BTW Hawk312 how the hell did you get the glass to look so real?

Very nice work:cool:

I actually rubbed out and polished the windsheild. That is why it has such a shine. This was built from an old kit and the windsheild was all scratched up, so I had to do it.

did you clear coat it too?
Definitely. There are probably about 12-15 coats of clear on it. I wetsanded and rubbed it out to get it to look smooth. Here are some pics of my 69 Z since you like them too:) :
