raising a truck

Ok well I plan on raising an old F150 kit I have.Its sitiing ic CSC right now to strip the paint.I know how to drop the suspension but how do you raise it?Any help would be appreciated.:)

I saw an article one time in an old magazine about custom making shocks. They took one diameter of tubing and place a smaller tube inside of it with super glue. Then, they filled the ends with bondo and used smaller tubing to make the mounting hardware. That's one way you could make your shocks longer. you can also make larger leaf springs by using styrene to make scratchbuilt springs by layering the stuff in the same fassion as the stock ones. Just make sure they're the same length so that you can cut off the stock mounting hardware and use it on you scratchbuilt spring. That's one way to lift it. Another would be to kit bash a couple kits like Zan.
