AAHHHH help me im out of control.. ive spent $40 in like the last 3 weeks lol i need to find a phsycologist
umm i no ima get flamed for this so i want to know.. what was your fave model?(pics if can)

40 bucks in three weeks. You got off easy! I've spent mid triple digits in a month from HLJ before.

Man......I have spent $300 on models alone the last 2 months, that's not to mention the detailing sets and paint I have been buying......hehe (it helped my wife was working at the hobby shop though....)

Fave model? Been too many threads about this before.......too many.....

Any Subaru WRC kit does me good

All I make is $40 a week and I got to work on my real car, so you guys got me beat. As for my favorite model, I would have to say the Revell ITR, I buy one whenever I see it on the shelf, even if I'm not shopping for models

:D I've just ordered $100 worth of kits, its ok though coz it was the Best1 comp prize so i'm just paying postage on this - about £30 to me.

Now i have £150 burning a hole in my back pocket for more kits :D

It's only the start, once I got my Christmas money I went right to the closest hobby shop in Pasadena. I was on vacation to.

I spent over 300 dolars in a week there. :bloated: I feel stupid. I just thought about how stupid I spent that week, man wasted thirty dollars on hoppin hydros wheel sets alone. spent about 10 times as much on the kits in my sig, and one more ITR kit. Also spent more on SAS stuff.

Spent more on supplies and other stuff.

So, you can just imagine how I feel.

Yeah, I've definitely spent 1000-2000 so far, and I've only been in it for a year...

If you have to visit a phsycologist by spending $40, where should I go after spending $200 on only one model kit? :confused:

are we just talking about static models. because if you are then i would say i spent about 150 for the month but if you are talking about rc car then i am afraid to tatal it up. and is just not one rc car is my 3 1/10 gas car 2 electric , 1/8 buggy, 1/5 both F1 and touring. If my gf finds out that i spend more on myself for valetines day then on her she will have my head.

Oh god, I had a 1200 dollar Electric RC car I used to race, in addition to the other various cars I had to drive so as not to damage my "competition" RC car. And if you count 1:1 cars as static models I'm just in way over my head.

I noticed that before christmas i was spending 50-100 dollars a month on kits and supploes. Still have kits to build from christmas and then its shopping again :(. My favorite kit is my lancer.

ive spent some where between $1,000-$2,000 usa on models, including about 60$ ish on the accord GTR

favorite model is Toyota Supra by Tamiya

Not even 2 weeks and I spent over $175 and that was just kits! One of the kits was $40 by itself ;) Now this week I'm buying all of my supplies... :grabs credit card lol:

in my life i have spent about 1000$ but last month i didnt spend more than 3dollars on a crushed peugeot kit

Been pretty good so far this year, only spent $165.00 USD so far.

Last year my total for 12 months was $1200.00 USD.

My favorite kit.......probably be my Evo Extreme (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t49063.html) or the F150 (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=82338 )

$40 in 3 weeks, dont sweat it you got some self control there compare to others. i know some modelers who would shell out $300-$400 easily on a single kit especially in the modeling world of GKs. i think in the past 2 months ive spent about $300 already.

i spend a good $100 + a month :( i need to learn how to manage my money.

favorite kit - altezza only cause it's my dream car. hopefully i'll actually finish an altezza kit one day:rolleyes:
