Where'd you grow up?

Figured this would be fun.
I lived in a little hick town called Elgin,TX untill I was 4 years old, then we moved to Temple,TX. Kinda boring so post some interesting stuff cause' it's Valentine's day & I'm bored & also trying to get my mind off the fact that I ain't got no body. And never will. Where's my pills?...

I grew up in Layton Utah, sound interesting? Well its not.

Maybe if I knew if Layton's an interesting town. What's it like? Any night spots.

Born and raised in Los Angeles :twoguns: . Came to houston a few months ago.

Sydney. Now - Sydney.

I'm not done growing up yet, but ottawa, Ontario, Canada for all of my 17 years.

March '99 moved to Lower Hutt, New Zealand.

I'm getting older, but it's debatable as to whether I'm actually growing up. :D

Obviously you have done more growing up than you give yourself credit for.Personal growth is an ongoing development.There's no fixed age at which you stop learning and developing.



As for me?Lived in a small harbour town,Newhaven, in England until I left school at 16.Joined the Royal Navy straight from school and stuck with it for the rest of my adolescent life.

Moved to Schaumburg IL, for 5 years (picture Married with Children... the exterior shots of their house were taken in Schaumburg).
Moved to Shrewsbury, MA for 7 years (suburb of Worcester).
Moved to Redmond, WA for 6 years (suburb of Seattle).
Dropped out of high-school and moved to Spokane, WA. Been here for the last 7.5 years (@ 290 miles East of Seattle).

I've never really grown up though... :P

I was laughing for five min straight. Night life in Utah, what a joke!!!! We can't sell alcohol on Sunday either in Utah County, you can't gamble in Utah, and you must stand 25 feet from most buildings to smoke.

I think that Kris lives in the Layton area, I haven't really been around there since I was about 14. Layton is a small city in Utah, never was much to do there. It was alright when I was a kid, but now I have trouble finding good places and things to do in Salt Lake. I have to drive to Wendover or Las Vegas for the closest real "night life."

Now, Colorado was a place that you could have fun. Well in the Boulder and Denver areas anyhow. I even managed to have a deal of good times in Lyons and Longmont.

Born in Azores Portugal, moved to Canada at the age of 6.

I was born just outside Greenwich, which is SE London in the UK, family moved to South Africa when I was 6 and I pretty much grew up in a city called Port Elizabeth which is on the South coast of South Africa.
Now I live in State College, PA with my wife who is American:)

Born in Vancouver, BC, Canada, moved to Comox on Vancouver Island, BC, just before I turned 5... In the summer I moved from my home of 13+1/2 years to Courtenay, which is about 5 mins from Comox.

I still haven't grown up ;)

Spent the majority of my yournger years around the Woodstock and Wonder lake, Illinois area. I did live in Albion Michigan with my father for three years.

Moved to New Zealand in 1998. I thought Northern Wisconsin was God's country but NZ is just so damn beautiful and GREAT. Just miss family.

I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. I left 9 years ago to move to Cincinnati, Ohio to live with my G.F., now she's my wife :)

I was born in Humboldt Kansas, lived their until I was 23.
Humboldt is just another town that developed next to the railroad tracks.
Poplulation when I left was around 2500 ppl. I may go back someday to live becuase it is nice and quiet, and I still own land and a house back there, I like the simple life, fishing, hunting, real hillbilly type stuff.


I now live in Peoria AZ, have lived here for 4 years. I am just here for my job, however long that lasts.

I grew up on the south side of Chicago (84th and st. louis) not a good place, ghetto as hell with street gangs and shit.
Now i live in fuckin pleasantville, not really but its a big 180 from the city, i live out in West dundee,IL right next to elgin about a half hour away from Downtown Chicago.

I was born in Voorhees, NJ stayed there til I was 4 and a half then I moved to Beverly Hills, CA to live with my dad til i was 6. Then I moved back to voorhees with my mom and step dad and older brothers. Lived there until i was 15 and got kicked out for the first time...then i traveled for about 3 years...Finally returned to Voorhees in May of '01 got kicked out yet again in june. Spent the rest of that summer in Duck, NC. Moved to Palo Alto, CA for a year of college. Then transferred to Duke, and right now I think my legal residence is in Raleigh/Durham, NC. I'll be moving soon though and thats where I'll continue to grow up...I know I havent finished growing yet.

Then I moved to San Jose, California until I was 10. Then to Panama City Beach, Florida until I was 12. Next I went back to Italy and lived in Vicenza again until I was 15. Now I've lived here in Virginia Beach, Virginia for the past 2 years. My dad is military so I'm not sure how long I'll be here

Born in Champaign, IL, Lived there for about 4 years as a small child, parents didnt want me going into their school system(dangerous and poorly managed) so they moved me and my soon to be little brother about 20 minutes away to a nice town with one of the best schools in the state. For that I greatly thank my parents.

I wish I could Live in NZ:( Who knows, perhaps someday I will.

Lived in North Shore City, New Zealand all my life, and probably will be still here till I finish Uni.

North Shore City = Best part of Auckland City, or I think so.

Boy, my 'roots' must be anchored deep; coming up on my 47th b'day, and always lived in north-central Prince George's County, Maryland (Washington DC suburbs). Lanham, Riverdale, back to Lanham, Greenbelt, Seabrook. I could make a circuit of everywhere I've lived in one day -- on foot. My wife is worse, the only other house she ever lived in is six blocks away.

Obviously, we like it here.

Born and raised in the Phoenix area. I live in Glendale, not too far from John, actually. I watched it go from a little farming community to a full blown city. Peoria and Avondale have also come a long way. The metorpolitan Phoenix area has become almost like a mini Los Angeles with traffic etc. According to one of the guys in the ad/marketing dept at my office Phoenix has the largest retail per capita. Literally on every corner you have a grocery store, gas station and some place to get food. We also have about 10 malls or so just in Maricopa County (metro Phoenix). I like it here, except for summertime but AC takes care of that. I'd like to move elsewhere someday for a change, but AZ is the only place I can think of that doesn;t have huge floods, tornadoes, earthquakes or volcanos hehe. We get tornados occasionally but not like the midwest.
