i hate to say it but....

as of tonight i will be the proud owner of a 92 nissan 240sx, i cannot find a 4th gen hatch ANYWHERE, and im getting a great deal on the 240
i'm paying 800.00 for ir, its in great shape inside and out, it has a dohc 16 valve engine, REAR WHEEL DRIVE, and its just a sharp car, i am telling everyone now though that i WILL be returning to the 4th gen family, it is inevitable! but right now my hatch wont even start, and its 100% fucked, i went to the auto auction lastnight and bid on a 91 dx 4dr but the bids went higher then i willing to pay, once the clutch is fixed in the 240 (gonna cost me 200.00 installed thru a friend) the car will be worth aboud 4000.00 or a little more, so once i find a 90-91 Si i will be selling the 240sx



also, just so oyu guys know, and worry about me leaving :-D i WILL still be posting here, if you like it or not :D hehe

he had a slivia engine he said it was. dont know what they look like, but i believed the dude.

Sweet man. I love that model 240. If I ran across that deal, i would for sure jump on it without a second doubt. You can always get a 4th gen later down the line

nice a ka24de owner how many miles on it? those things tear balls but suck in the rain and yes i did get rid of my 240 to come to the honda camp

wow....i figured everyone would be doggin on me.....redrum, the engine has 120,xxx miles on it, so far i am LOVING it, the first thing i did was go into a chruch parking lot and pul some donuts, those mofo's have ALOT more power than i expected them to, its like nissans "generic, simi-sports car" lol

if i wouldnt have been an idiot i would have came home in a 91 turbo mr2, i was at the auto auction, and the auction didnt last longer than 10 seconds on the car, and i didnt get my bid in on time, so i didnt get it..... i almost cried on the way home, those cars are SOOOO beautiful!

also, i will be still building up my z6.....i WILL own another hatch....it is inevitable

if your gonna do any swap do a sr20det swap minimum of 205hp also wats really fun and creates a shit load of smoke is reverse donuts because both tires are spinnin

Yeh i heard that is alot more work to put that in the nissan puslar? I mean i would go with it if its an easy drop in swap.

the pulsar is fwd right? if so its gonna be a bitch to do an sr20det or ca18det swap because its a rwd drivetrain

Well as far sr20det, theres awd, fwd, rwd. Say like if i had nissan sentra se-r. I can use there existing tranny. So it'll be a fwd. As far as ca18det. Theres awd,rwd and fwd. I only see fwd nissan pulsar here. Not sure if theres rwd?

i know my 1st car was a 93 nx2000 with a 14hp sr20de engine.....when i totaled my civic i was gonna get another nx....but they're still like $5000....and i only got back $3000 from insurance :(

I've wanted a Nissan 240SX for a while because of the fact I can lay my hands on a SR20DET engine. The last one I looked at was a 91 coupe that had a blown engine and needed almost a new front end (perfect for a silvia conversion) but they wanted $1700 for it, I couldn't even talk him down to $1500...

HA! I used to have one of those man, those things were so tiny, always wanted to know why they made a 3 cyl instead of 4? still puzzles me

Nice - over here we got them as the 180SX with SR20DET stock (low volume imports).

I'm currently looking for a stablemate for the SiR and it will either be a 180SX or a Silvia S13 or S14 with the same motor... I'd kill for a S15 but they are just too damn expensive - 40L Aussie right now, a bit more if you want the Aussie spec 200SX rather than the S15.

SR20DET is a sweet motor - pity it sounds like shit though :p

my fav rims on a 240 are 5zigen typhoons you definetly check them out and ditch the hub caps with the fake rotors on it

the rims that i posted up are the wheels that are in my front room...i paid 200 for all of them at pep-boys, not bad

Damn, wish i could run into a deal like that. Oh well got some 15" Konigs with tires for 500

Back to the point, i think they would look nice on there, put them on there, then give me the car...mwhahahahaha....j/k
