A stupid Valentine's Day Thread!

Hi. Valentine's Day can go to Hell! :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire I am a good husband. I pay the bills on time, I don't cheat, I take care of my kids, I don't get pissy-drunk (that often :buck ), I try to be a good person! My wife gets mad at me because she came home from work 5 HOURS EARLY and gets mad because I don't have anything for her for this stupid Hallmark-iday !!! I didn't know she was coming home early!:rolleyes: I was gonna get her something but now, F*** it!:angryfire Nevermind the fact that I had the opportunity to take a young lady home from the grocery store last night after she approached me twice (I love my family too much!!) never mind that I rarely ask for to help me pay the bills, never mind that I've gotten her everything she's wanted for every holidy for the last 7 years, all that matters is the fact that I didn't get her a stupid V-Day present!! :stormzap: F*** it, I'm sick of these stupid-ass holidays that try to control how you are supposed to live your life! :angryfire :zx11pisse :angryfire :zx11pisse :angryfire :zx11pisse :angryfire :zx11pisse

i here you, but im coming to the same point, but only i come alone. i have never liked this holiday(if making one up out the blue is considered a holiday). i spend every valentines day wondering why it is we buy gifts, or donations to all the chocolate companies and card corparations and those damn people selling flowers in the road. its meaningless.:mad: . but i aint going to take on those companies alone. i need an army, an af army, now whos with me? :devil:

well my day wasnt as bad as getting yelled at or anything. but it still sucked majorly. and then tonight i talk to my exgirlfriend who i still want back desperatly and she gives me this whole schpeel about how she doesnt see the big deal in having someone to be with all the time. and i gave everything right back at her by saying that life is alot better when you have someone to care about blah blah ..i think i might have gotten through to her cuz tomorrow we are spending the day together..maybe valentines wasnt the biggest lose

but still..it sucked none the less :devil:

:( sorry bout what happond tonio, i didnt get my GF anything, she didnt get me nothing too. just make it clear i guess. it is a fake ass hallmarkday. reason to spend money thats it. ohh well and its her time of the month so i ain't getting non tonite :bloated: :bloated:

I hear ya tonio.....been married long enough to know that unless you can pull miracles out of the hat on demand,it's best never to even try.
Valentines day came and went in our house without so much as a mention,I'll get some flowers for my wife when Ifeel good about our relationship,not when I'm expected to by the florist.

im still in school and you see all these dumb ass teens giving V-day gifts to each other, then like 2 days later they ahte each other, then another 2 days later they love each other agian, doesnt make sence,IDK my cat is good enough for me:D :coolguy: :coolguy: :coolguy: :coolguy:

I'm sorry to hear about everyone's misfortunes. Granted, it's a day that is WAY too commercial, but I actually did exchange small gifts with my significant other, and we went and saw the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra play. We didn't even spend the night together afterwards. It was a very calm, fun, amazing time.

V-Day should not be about impressing people. I used it to make a special night out of my relationship even more special.

I feel your pain, Tonio. When it comes to shit like this, all that seems to run through the thoughts of the female mind is "what have you done for me lately?" (no offense to Tangie or any other women who may be ready this :bloated: ). And I have to admit that for reasons like this, I was very happy to be a single cat for this Valentine's Day. But you are taking one for the team by being married, being a loyal husband, and fighting the good fight in this situation. So for that I owe you a thanks :D

As for the rest of you girl-less schleps, repeat after me...

Thanks JD! I need that kind of support sometimes to keep me going in those tough times;) :D We had a better weekend than V-Day:licker: I have to take the bad with the good!:p

yeah valentines day was absolute SHIT for me too. long story short: girl i liked, party, alot of booze, her drunk, another guy....equals one VERY pissed me.
