Anyone know the difference between
-TS7 racing white
-TS26 pure white
-TS27 matt white
-TS45 pearl white
They all look pretty similar to me on the caps, and I know that only someone who's tried a few of them will know any real difference. I'm trying to choose a color for my Supra. Thanks!

well matt white is non gloss as to the others i haen't used them but i thing you'll find a hint of blue in the pearl white

Pure white is just that, pure white. Racing white is creamy looking in my opinion, it has a yellowish tinge to it compared to pure white.
matt white is a flat color....non reflective finish.....like flat black is compared to gloss black
pearl white has metallic in it which gives it different hues in different light

That's great to know, I know I definitely want probably pure white now, I don't want a yellowish tint :D

Racing white is intended to be the color for the Honda F1 car (RA###). It is a creamy off-white. It's also a decent, but not perfect, match for Honda's modern Championship White, which it uses on its Type R cars.

Buy Championship white from an automotive store :D
I don't see why people will buy tamiya paint if they are trying to match the real color when they could just go to there local automotive paint store and get the "touch up" paint

I had a 1997 ITR. I used TS-7 as touch up paint as it matched better than Honda's own touch up paint!

well, i know that matt white and all other matt colors are a type of semi gloss, perfect for interiors

There is HUGE difference between a matt color and a semi-gloss color.
matt colors are non-reflective when applied correctly, semi-gloss colors still reflect an amount of light

When I would park my ITR next to a white Integra it was very obvious there was more red in the ITR white, the regular Integra having a lot more blue. I am building a DC5 ITR right now and I found if I used matt white as the base coat and then used TS-7 it looks very convincing in sun light.

TS7 racing white : yellowish white (most of the oldest race car use this)

Actually there is still 1 more white from Tamiya, that looks a lot more better is MS7 super white. This color will look like the plastic color that show on your R34 V-spec. There is a bluish reflection in the white.;)

Yes. Is was jjust a name, but believe me. The white is very white like Pman Evo7 BozzSpeed...:rolleyes: I did recommand to all my customer, and they see the result that are better than TS-26 Pure white.:smoker2: :D :D
