Lights on :)

Hi

I always seen to leave my lights on, and I'm planning to take my Mazda to a electrician and see if I can ask him to connect my light wires to my key switch so when I turn off the car the light goes off not matter what a friend told that it will be easier if I ask the mechanic to install something that "beep" when I turn off my car and the light are on.

Any Ideas what is the best way to deal with this because I always forget my lights on?

usually when you leave your lights on while you turn off the car the car makes a long beeping noise. try it someday. leave your lights on and open your door. try that then tell me what happens

most cars do beep when you leave the lights on and open the door when the car is off, but proteges don't. i just made it a habit to always reach to turn the off no matter what.
