Does your car set off alarms?

I was parked at a set of lights on the Great Western Hwy today...and just had Nelly playing....then I hear this car in the car yard...it's alarm starting going off..cause of the bass of my subs lol...

the volume wasn't even that loud.....

it stopped...then 2 minutes later started again lol...I was still parked at the lights...hahahaha....

Later on I stopped by the bodykit place at lansvale...and when I was leaving..I started the car...then the alarm for the car behind..went off lol....and it was one of those really annoying alarms where the horn beaps all the time too lol....

two cars in one day lol..... :D

My car sets off house alarms in VTEC mode hehehe

Yup, with both subs and with exhaust, mainly during back off... but the best one was in Melb, sliding thru the Chapel street multi level car park, thats hard to do, set em off with screeching.... but its all good!!! And ur right tho Q, Nelly is good for bass!!!

I was parked at the brewery one night, in my civic, and reversed into a park next to a 300zx...its alarm must have been so sensitive, cos I dun got any exhaust, and im sure as hell not gonna be packin many dB's outta a set of Kenwood 6" speakers!...LoL it was funny tho...everyone looked at me...

Not too long ago I took Slave with me to work...since Mr Slave is in Darwin...and I reverse parked next to and Excel...stock as a rock, complete with standard issue hub caps....I was just sittin there deciding if I would rather leave it here where I could see it, or over at Prosound where they'd look after it for me....I decided on prosound and so I did a slight rev before leavin the park...and this lil excel's alarm goes off...I was totally amused, there was a dude walking past it nd he jumped 6 foot outta his skin cos he thought it was him...and then the alarm stopped...so I did it again..hehehehe....because I could...hehehehe

See...Slave and me have been having much fun while u've been away...not sure if u'll get it back yet.....may just have to confiscate it for a lil while!

I had "the boys" up here in their old ford taurus, sitting quietly until I walked near them, then they're like turning up the stereo and hanging out da windows all gangsta style.... all I could her was distortion... pretty funny, he's like, "what u laughing at bro? eh? Bro?" Im like, "nothing, just c'mon, you gotta admit, hangin outta ur mums car trying to impress people's pretty weak sauce" He get pissed n goes "does this sounds like my mums stereo to u cuz eh?"

Yes, all the time, especially in closed parking spaces. My bestfriend and I make it sometimes something of a joke to rev my car to see how many alarms will go off. It's amusing, most especially since these car owners set their alarms to a sensitive mode that just by kicking the wheels you can set it off. Makes the alarm kinda pointless then, hence our amusement.

Yep...i love racing up those muiti-level car parks and seeing how many i can set off :p

actually,mine sets off more smoke alarms than car alarms.....:(

mine will be setting off more alarms now! Clutch is done...flywheel lightened...does she rev much better!!!!

still investigating whether the battery or wiring is a problem though.
